Follow The Directions

01

Step
5 mins

Prepare your breading station: In a shallow dish, place the flour. In a second dish, whisk together the honey and Dijon mustard. In a third dish, spread the Italian-seasoned bread crumbs. (5 minutes)

02

Step
15 mins

Season the chicken tenders with salt and pepper, ensuring each piece is lightly coated. (2 minutes)

03

Step
5 mins

Dredge each chicken tender in the flour, shaking off any excess. (3 minutes)

04

Step
5 mins

Dip the floured tender into the honey-mustard mixture, ensuring it's fully coated. (2 minutes)

05

Step
2 mins

Press the honey-mustard coated tender into the bread crumbs, ensuring both sides are well-coated. Place the breaded tender on a clean plate. Repeat with the remaining tenders. (10 minutes)

06

Step

In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. (2 minutes)

07

Step

Add the breaded chicken tenders to the skillet, being careful not to overcrowd the pan. Cook until golden brown on the first side. (4-5 minutes)

08

Step

Carefully flip the tenders, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter to the skillet, and continue cooking until the chicken is fully cooked through and golden brown on the other side. (2-3 minutes)

09

Step

Remove the cooked chicken tenders from the skillet and place them on a wire rack to drain excess oil. (2 minutes)

For an extra crispy coating, double-dredge the chicken tenders: flour, honey-mustard, bread crumbs, then back into honey-mustard and bread crumbs again.
If you don't have Italian-seasoned bread crumbs, add a pinch of dried oregano, basil, and parsley to plain bread crumbs.
Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauces. Ranch, ketchup, or a honey-mustard dipping sauce are all excellent choices.
Ensure chicken tenders are fully cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
