For an extra smooth hummus, peel the skins off the garbanzo beans before blending. Adjust the amount of cayenne pepper to your liking. Start with 1/2 teaspoon and add more to taste. If the hummus is too thick, add a tablespoon or two of cold water until desired consistency is reached. This hummus can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
