Follow The Directions

01

Step

Line 18 muffin cups with paper liners. (5 minutes)

02

Step

In a large bowl, whisk together the sour cream, sugar, lemon juice, and salt until well blended. (5 minutes)

03

Step

Gently fold in the diced bananas, crushed pineapple (with its juice), chopped maraschino cherries, and chopped pecans until evenly distributed throughout the mixture. (5 minutes)

04

Step

Pour the mixture evenly into the prepared muffin cups. (5 minutes)

05

Step

Freeze until completely solid. This typically takes at least 4 hours, but preferably overnight, for the cups to set properly. (240+ minutes)

06

Step

Once frozen, transfer the fruit cups to resealable freezer bags for convenient storage. (5 minutes)

For a smoother texture, consider using full-fat Greek yogurt instead of sour cream.
Adjust the sweetness to your preference by adding more or less sugar. Taste the mixture before freezing to ensure it meets your liking.
Feel free to experiment with different fruits and nuts! Berries, mangoes, or almonds would make delicious additions.
To easily remove the frozen cups, let them sit at room temperature for a minute or two before gently twisting and popping them out of the liners.
