Follow The Directions

01

Step

Chill a cocktail shaker and your serving glass (Champagne flute or Collins glass) in the freezer for at least 15 minutes. (15 minutes)

02

Step

Fill the chilled cocktail shaker with cracked ice. (2 minutes)

03

Step

Add the gin, fresh lemon juice, and simple syrup to the shaker. (1 minute)

04

Step

Cover and shake vigorously until the outside of the shaker is well-frosted (about 15-20 seconds). (1 minute)

05

Step

Fill the chilled serving glass half full with cracked ice (if using a Collins glass). (1 minute)

06

Step

Strain the cocktail into the prepared glass. (1 minute)

07

Step

Gently top with chilled brut Champagne. (1 minute)

08

Step

Garnish with a lemon slice. Express the oils from the lemon peel over the drink before adding the slice to enhance the aroma. (1 minute)

For a sweeter cocktail, adjust the amount of simple syrup to your preference.
Ensure your ingredients are well-chilled for the best results.
Experiment with different gins to find your favorite flavor profile. A London Dry gin provides a classic, balanced taste.
If you don't have simple syrup, you can substitute with 1/2 teaspoon of superfine sugar. Shake well to dissolve.
