Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a standard loaf pan. (5 minutes)

02

Step

Separate each biscuit into two thinner rounds. (5 minutes)

03

Step

In a shallow bowl, combine granulated sugar, brown sugar, and cinnamon. In another shallow bowl, place melted butter. (2 minutes)

04

Step

Dip each biscuit round in melted butter, allowing excess to drip off. Then, dredge in the cinnamon-sugar mixture, coating evenly. (10 minutes)

05

Step

Place one coated biscuit round at the end of the prepared loaf pan. Spread approximately 2 teaspoons of apple butter over another coated biscuit round and gently press it against the first biscuit in the pan. Repeat with remaining biscuit rounds and apple butter, layering them snugly in the pan. Ensure each biscuit piece is 'sandwiched' with apple butter. Sprinkle any leftover cinnamon-sugar mixture over the top. (15 minutes)

06

Step

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown, risen, and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. (30-35 minutes)

07

Step

Let cool in the pan for 5 minutes before inverting onto a serving platter. (5 minutes)

08

Step

Drizzle generously with salted caramel sauce and sprinkle with flaky sea salt, if desired. Serve warm and enjoy! (2 minutes)

For an extra layer of flavor, consider adding chopped pecans or walnuts to the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
If you don't have apple butter, you can substitute with pumpkin butter or even a thick apple sauce, though the flavor profile will be slightly different.
Watch the bread closely during the last 10 minutes of baking to prevent over-browning. If necessary, tent the loaf pan with foil.
This bread is best served warm, but leftovers can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.

Can this be made the day before and baked the next day?

I made this for dessert last night, and it was gone in minutes! The kids loved pulling apart the warm, gooey biscuits.

Easy to follow instructions and the result was amazing! I used pumpkin butter instead of apple butter, and it was still delicious.

I added some chopped walnuts to the sugar mixture, and it gave it a lovely crunch. Thanks for the great recipe!

I tried this recipe with gluten-free biscuits, and it worked perfectly! A great option for those with dietary restrictions.

My caramel sauce was a bit thin, so the bread was a little soggy. Next time, I'll reduce the sauce on the stovetop to thicken it up.

My family loved this so much I am making another one this weekend.
