For an extra layer of flavor, consider adding a tablespoon of finely chopped red onion or capers.
If you prefer a spicier dip, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or a dash of your favorite hot sauce.
Fresh dill can be substituted for dried dill, use 1 tablespoon of fresh dill, finely chopped.
This dip can be made up to 24 hours in advance. Be sure to store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
