Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). (5 minutes)

02

Step

Coarsely chop 1/4 cup of the almonds and place them into a small bowl. Add the brown sugar and Dijon mustard; mix well until a thick paste forms. (5 minutes)

03

Step

Carefully slice the Brie round horizontally in half. Place one half, cut-side up, in the center of a round baking stone or oven-safe dish. Spread half of the brown sugar mixture evenly over the exposed surface. Cover with the remaining Brie half, cut-side up. Spread the remaining brown sugar mixture on top of the Brie. Sprinkle with the remaining 1/4 cup of sliced almonds. (10 minutes)

04

Step

Cut the baguette diagonally into 1/2-inch thick slices. Arrange the slices around the Brie on the baking stone. Lightly spray the baguette slices with cooking spray for a golden and crispy finish. (5 minutes)

05

Step

Bake in the preheated oven until the baguette slices are golden brown and the Brie begins to soften and melt, approximately 8 to 10 minutes. Keep a close watch to prevent burning.

06

Step

Let the baked Brie stand for about 5 minutes before serving. This allows the cheese to settle slightly and the flavors to meld together beautifully.

For an extra touch of flavor, consider adding a drizzle of honey or maple syrup after baking.
If you don't have a baking stone, a regular baking sheet will work just fine. Line it with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
Serve immediately with the toasted baguette slices for dipping. The warm, melted Brie is also delicious with apple slices or crackers.
