For a richer flavor, use clarified butter instead of regular melted butter. Feel free to experiment with different cheeses! Asiago or Romano cheese are great alternatives to Parmesan. If you don't have garlic powder, mince 2-3 cloves of fresh garlic and sauté them in the butter before brushing the breadsticks. For a softer breadstick, reduce the baking time by a few minutes. For crispier breadsticks, bake for a few minutes longer. These breadsticks are best served warm. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
