For an extra touch of flavor, brush the baked rolls with more melted butter as soon as they come out of the oven. These rolls freeze beautifully! Allow them to cool completely after baking, then wrap them tightly in plastic wrap and foil. Freeze for up to 2 months. To reheat, thaw overnight in the refrigerator and then warm in a low oven until heated through. If you don't have shortening on hand, you can substitute with melted butter or vegetable oil.
