For best results, use a ripe but firm pineapple. A slightly underripe pineapple will hold its shape better on the grill. If you don't have a grill, you can also broil the pineapple wedges in the oven. Place them on a baking sheet and broil for 2-3 minutes per side, watching carefully to prevent burning. Serve immediately while warm. The grilled pineapple is delicious on its own or as a topping for vanilla ice cream or yogurt.
