Follow The Directions

01

Step
5 mins

Prepare the Watermelon: (5 minutes) Slice the watermelon into thick rounds, approximately 1-inch thick. This will ensure your stars hold their shape.

02

Step
15 mins

Cut Out Stars: (10 minutes) Using a star-shaped cookie cutter, carefully cut out stars from the watermelon slices. Gently remove the stars and set aside.

03

Step
10 mins

Assemble the Kabobs: (15 minutes) Thread approximately 15-20 blueberries onto each wooden skewer, leaving some space at the top. Carefully add one watermelon star to the top of each skewer, pressing gently to secure it.

04

Step
5 mins

Repeat: Repeat the process with the remaining blueberries and watermelon stars until all ingredients are used.

For best results, use seedless watermelons.
To prevent the watermelon stars from breaking, ensure the watermelon slices are thick enough.
Get creative! Add other fruits like strawberries, raspberries, or blackberries for a colorful and flavorful twist.
Chill the kabobs in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving for a refreshing treat.
For a festive touch, use star-shaped cookie cutters of different sizes.
