For a smokier flavor, add a teaspoon of smoked paprika to the sauce. If you prefer a sweeter BBQ sauce, increase the brown sugar to 1/4 cup. Adjust the amount of cayenne pepper to suit your spice preference. This recipe also works well with chicken thighs – adjust baking time accordingly. Leftovers are excellent in sandwiches or salads.
