Indian chili powder can be significantly spicier than regular chili powder, so adjust the amount to your preference. For a richer flavor, consider using fresh tomatoes instead of canned puree. You'll need approximately 2 pounds of fresh tomatoes, peeled and chopped. A dollop of plain yogurt or a sprinkle of fresh cilantro can also be used as garnishes.
