For an extra layer of flavor, try adding a splash of balsamic vinegar to the soup while it's simmering. If you don't have rye bread, sourdough or another crusty bread will work well. Feel free to adjust the amount of red pepper flakes to your preferred level of spice. For a vegan version, use vegan cream cheese and plant-based milk. You can also use a vegan butter substitute on the bread before grilling.
