Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and lightly flour three 9x5-inch loaf pans. (5 minutes)

02

Step

In a large bowl, cream together the white sugar, brown sugar, and melted butter until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract and pumpkin puree until well combined. (10 minutes)

03

Step

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, nutmeg, cloves, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix. (5 minutes)

04

Step

Divide the batter evenly among the prepared loaf pans. Smooth the tops. (3 minutes)

05

Step

Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean. (50 minutes)

06

Step

Let the loaves cool in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. (10 minutes)

For an extra layer of flavor, consider adding 1 cup of chopped walnuts or pecans to the batter.
To ensure even baking, rotate the loaf pans halfway through the baking time.
The bread freezes well. Wrap cooled loaves tightly in plastic wrap and then in foil for up to 2 months.
