For an extra layer of flavor, toast the bread cubes lightly before soaking them. Feel free to adjust the amount of cinnamon and brown sugar to your liking. If you don't have ramekins, you can bake the bread pudding in a greased 8x8 inch baking dish. Baking time may need to be adjusted. To prevent the tops from browning too quickly, cover the ramekins with foil during the last 20 minutes of baking. Serve warm with a dusting of powdered sugar, a dollop of whipped cream, or a drizzle of maple syrup.

Jul 21, 2024The pudding was a little too sweet for my taste, so I reduced the brown sugar by 1/4 cup. It was perfect!
