For a richer flavor, try using milk or potato water (water used to boil potatoes) instead of plain water. If you don't have dry milk powder, you can omit it, but the bread will be slightly less tender. Make sure your yeast is fresh! Expired yeast won't rise properly. Store leftover bread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or in the freezer for longer storage.
