Follow The Directions

Step

Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Spray a large baking sheet with cooking spray and set aside. (5 minutes)

In a small saucepan, combine peanut butter, canola oil, and honey. Heat over low heat, stirring constantly, until smooth and pourable. (5 minutes)

Place 1 cup of oats in a blender or food processor and process until finely ground. In a large bowl, combine the ground oats with the remaining 3 cups of oats, brown sugar, and salt. (5 minutes)

Pour the warm peanut butter mixture over the oat mixture and stir until evenly coated. Spread the mixture in an even layer onto the prepared baking sheet. (3 minutes)

Bake for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes to ensure even baking and prevent burning. (30 minutes)

Remove from oven and let cool on the baking sheet for 10 minutes. Once slightly cooled, break the granola into desired chunk sizes. Allow to cool completely before storing. (20 minutes)

For a richer flavor, try using natural peanut butter. Be sure to stir frequently as natural peanut butter tends to burn easier.
Feel free to add nuts, seeds, or dried fruit to the granola after baking for added texture and flavor.
Store the cooled granola in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week to maintain its crunch.
