Follow The Directions

01

Step
17 mins

In a large, heatproof pitcher or measuring cup, combine the tea bags and mint sprigs. Pour the boiling water over the mixture, ensuring the tea bags are fully submerged. Cover with a plate or lid and allow to steep for 15-20 minutes, depending on your desired tea strength. (15-20 minutes)

02

Step
5 mins

Strain the steeped tea through a fine-mesh sieve into a large mason jar or pitcher, pressing down on the tea bags and mint to extract all the flavorful liquid. Discard the spent tea bags and mint. (5 minutes)

03

Step
5 mins

Add the sugar to the warm tea and stir until completely dissolved. Then, stir in the lemon juice, lime juice, and vanilla extract. (5 minutes)

04

Step
120 hrs

Pour in the chilled water and stir to combine. Secure the lid and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld and the tea to become thoroughly chilled. (2 hours to overnight)

05

Step
5 mins

When ready to serve, fill a punch bowl or drink dispenser with ice. Pour in the chilled Moji-Tea. Garnish with fresh mint sprigs, lemon slices, and lime slices, if desired. (5 minutes)

For a stronger tea flavor, use more tea bags or steep for a longer period.
Adjust the amount of sugar to your preference. You can also use honey or agave nectar as a substitute.
For an adult version, add 1-2 cups of white rum or light rum to the punch bowl just before serving.
If you don't have fresh mint, you can use 1-2 teaspoons of mint extract, but fresh mint provides the best flavor.
Garnish with lemon and lime wheels for a beautiful presentation.

Be careful not to over-steep the tea, or it can become bitter.
