Follow The Directions

01

Step

Prepare the Dressing: In a blender, combine the cilantro, garlic, lime juice, olive oil, brown sugar, chili powder, and salt. Blend until smooth and emulsified. (5 minutes)

02

Step

Combine Salad Ingredients: In a large bowl, gently toss together the shredded papaya, black beans, corn, and diced red bell pepper. (5 minutes)

03

Step

Dress the Salad: Pour the dressing over the salad and toss gently to ensure all ingredients are evenly coated. (2 minutes)

04

Step

Chill: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. (30 minutes)

05

Step

Serve: Before serving, garnish with additional chopped cilantro, if desired. (2 minutes)

For a milder flavor, reduce the amount of cilantro and chili powder. Alternatively, a pinch of cayenne pepper can replace chili powder.
If green papaya is unavailable, jicama or green mango can be used as substitutes.
Salad can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Flavor improves as it sits.
