Follow The Directions

01

Step

Prepare the Mango Puree: (5 minutes) Peel and dice the mangoes. In a blender or food processor, puree the mango until smooth. Measure out 1 1/2 cups of the puree and set aside. Reserve any remaining puree for another use.

02

Step

Whip the Cream: (8 minutes) In a large, chilled bowl, combine the heavy whipping cream and sugar. Using an electric mixer on high speed, whip until soft peaks form. This may take several minutes. Reduce the mixer speed to low and gently fold in the prepared mango puree until evenly combined.

03

Step

Freeze: (8-24 hours) Pour the mixture into Ninja® CREAMi™ containers or a freezer-safe bowl. If using Ninja® CREAMi™, freeze for 24 hours. If freezing in a bowl, cover tightly with plastic wrap, pressing it directly onto the surface of the ice cream to prevent ice crystals from forming. Freeze for at least 8 hours, or preferably overnight, until solid.

04

Step

Churn or Scoop: (8-10 minutes) If using Ninja® CREAMi™, follow the manufacturer's instructions to churn the ice cream. Typically, this involves inserting the frozen pint container into the outer bowl and selecting the 'Ice Cream' function. If freezing in a container, remove from the freezer and let sit at room temperature for 8 to 10 minutes, or until it softens enough to scoop easily. Serve immediately and enjoy the taste of sunshine!

For an even more intense mango flavor, consider using Alphonso mangoes, known for their sweetness and aroma.
If you don't have an ice cream maker, be sure to stir the mixture every couple of hours during the freezing process to break up ice crystals and create a smoother texture.
A splash of lime juice can enhance the mango flavor and add a touch of acidity to balance the sweetness.
Garnish with fresh mango slices, toasted coconut flakes, or a drizzle of honey for an elegant presentation.
