Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld. For optimal flavor, chill overnight.
For a milder dip, remove the seeds and membranes from some of the jalapeno slices before processing.
If you prefer a smoother texture, you can use an immersion blender to briefly blend the finished dip. However, be careful not to over-blend, as it can become too thin.
Serve with your favorite tortilla chips, Fritos® Scoops®, vegetable sticks, or even as a spread for sandwiches and wraps.
Add a squeeze of lime juice for extra zest.
Try adding some shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese for a cheesy variation.
