For a richer flavor, use anchovy broth instead of water. Adjust the amount of gochujang to your desired level of spiciness. Feel free to add other vegetables like Korean radish (mu) or enoki mushrooms. For a heartier meal, add thinly sliced beef or pork belly. Doenjang Jjigae tastes even better the next day!
