Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly coat a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. (5 minutes)

02

Step

Coat a large skillet with nonstick cooking spray; heat over medium heat. Season pork chops generously with salt and pepper. Add the chops to the hot skillet and sear until nicely browned on both sides, about 5 minutes per side. (15 minutes)

03

Step

While the pork chops are searing, prepare the honey glaze: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the brown sugar and honey. Microwave on High in 10-second intervals, stirring in between, until the brown sugar has softened and the mixture is easily combined. (1 minute)

04

Step

Transfer the seared pork chops to the prepared baking dish. Spread half of the honey glaze evenly over the top of the chops. (2 minutes)

05

Step

Bake, uncovered, in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. (15 minutes)

06

Step

Flip the chops and spread the remaining honey glaze over the top. Continue to bake until the pork is no longer pink in the center and an instant-read thermometer inserted into the thickest part registers 145 degrees F (63 degrees C), about 15-20 minutes more. (20 minutes)

07

Step

Let the pork chops rest for a few minutes before serving to allow the juices to redistribute.

For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the honey glaze for a touch of heat.
Ensure the internal temperature reaches 145°F for safe consumption and optimal tenderness.
Serve with roasted vegetables or a simple salad for a complete and satisfying meal.
The honey glaze can be prepared on the stovetop in a small saucepan over low heat if you prefer not to use a microwave.

I added a little Dijon mustard to the glaze and it gave it a nice tang.

These were amazing! My husband said they were the best pork chops he's ever had.

  • Casandra Sporer

I was worried they would be too sweet, but the glaze was perfectly balanced.
