Follow The Directions

01

Step

Heat peanut oil in an outdoor deep-fryer to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). (Approximately 15-20 minutes)

02

Step

In a medium bowl, combine black pepper, salt, cayenne pepper, garlic salt, and onion salt. Generously rub the spice mixture onto each beef rib, ensuring even coverage. (Approximately 10 minutes)

03

Step

In a large bowl, whisk the eggs until well combined. Place the flour in a separate bowl or onto a large plate. (Approximately 5 minutes)

04

Step

Dip a rib into the beaten egg, allowing excess egg to drip back into the bowl. Then, press the rib into the flour, coating it thoroughly on all sides. Repeat this dipping process once more, ensuring a thick, even coating of egg and flour. Repeat to bread a total of 4 to 5 ribs per batch. (Approximately 15 minutes)

05

Step

Carefully place the breaded ribs into the fryer basket, making sure not to overcrowd them. Deep-fry for approximately 8 minutes, or until the ribs are golden brown and cooked through.

06

Step

While the ribs are frying, continue breading the remaining ribs, repeating Step 4 for 4 to 5 more ribs. (Approximately 15 minutes)

07

Step

Using tongs, carefully remove the fried ribs from the fryer and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil. Repeat the breading and frying process as necessary until all ribs are cooked. (Approximately 20 minutes)

For an extra layer of flavor, try adding a tablespoon of smoked paprika to the spice mixture.
Ensure the oil temperature remains consistent throughout the frying process for even cooking.
If you don't have an outdoor deep-fryer, a large, heavy-bottomed pot can be used with caution.
Serve immediately for the best crispy texture. Consider pairing with your favorite dipping sauce or coleslaw.

My only suggestion would be to use a thermometer to ensure the oil is at the correct temperature. Otherwise, a fantastic recipe!

These ribs were a huge hit at our family barbecue! The spice blend is perfect, and the double-dipping makes them incredibly crispy.

I was a bit hesitant to deep-fry ribs, but this recipe is a game-changer. So easy to follow, and the results are amazing!
