Follow The Directions

01

Step

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, and dry French onion soup mix. Mix thoroughly with your hands until well blended. (2 minutes)

02

Step

Add Italian dressing and eggs to the mixture. Continue to mix until all ingredients are fully incorporated. The mixture will be quite moist. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. (10 minutes)

03

Step

Take a small amount of the meat mixture and roll it into a ball that fits comfortably in your palm. Repeat this process until all the meat mixture has been used. (15 minutes)

04

Step

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the meatballs to the skillet, working in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding. (2 minutes)

05

Step

Cook the meatballs, flipping them frequently, until they are browned on all sides and no longer pink in the center. Use an instant-read thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches at least 160 degrees F (71 degrees C). This should take approximately 8 to 10 minutes. (8-10 minutes)

For a richer flavor, try using caramelized onions instead of raw onions.
Serve these meatballs with a creamy Dijon mustard sauce or a simple gravy for an elegant appetizer.
These meatballs are also fantastic in a meatball sub or served over mashed potatoes.
