Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). (5 minutes)

02

Step

Arrange 12 hash brown patties in a single layer on a rimmed baking sheet, overlapping slightly is okay. Reserve remaining patties for another use.

03

Step

Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.

04

Step

Remove from the oven and use a spatula to press the edges of each hash brown together, creating a cohesive crust that fills the baking sheet. Return to the oven and bake until golden and crisp, approximately 15 more minutes.

05

Step

While the hash browns are baking, melt butter in a medium nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add beaten eggs, salt, and pepper. Cook, stirring frequently, until the eggs are very softly scrambled, about 3 to 4 minutes; remember, they will continue cooking in the oven.

06

Step

Remove the hash brown crust from the oven. Sprinkle with ¾ cup of the Cheddar cheese, then evenly distribute the scrambled eggs over the cheese. Sprinkle the chopped bacon and remaining Cheddar cheese over the top. Return the pizza to the oven until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly, about 3 to 5 more minutes.

07

Step

Garnish with fresh chives before slicing and serving immediately.

For extra flavor, consider adding a drizzle of hot sauce or a sprinkle of red pepper flakes before serving.
Feel free to customize the toppings! Diced ham, sausage, mushrooms, onions, or bell peppers would all be delicious additions.
If you don't have fresh chives, dried chives or green onions can be used as a substitute.
Make sure to use a non-stick skillet for the eggs. It will make your life much easier.
