Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). (5 minutes)

02

Step

In a medium bowl, mash the avocados with a fork or potato masher until smooth. Season with garlic salt, lemon juice, and dried oregano. Mix well and set aside. (5 minutes)

03

Step

Arrange the split croissants on a clean work surface. On the bottom halves of each croissant, layer 2 slices of turkey, followed by 1 slice of Swiss cheese and 2 strips of cooked bacon. Place the croissant tops over the bacon layer. (10 minutes)

04

Step

Arrange the assembled sandwiches on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven until the cheese is melted and bubbly, about 5 to 7 minutes. (7 minutes)

05

Step

Remove the sandwiches from the oven. Carefully open each sandwich and place 2 tomato slices and 1 lettuce leaf on top of the bacon layer. (3 minutes)

06

Step

Lightly spread 1 teaspoon of spicy brown mustard and 1/4 of the avocado mixture on the underside of each croissant top. Return the croissant tops to each sandwich and serve immediately. (5 minutes)

For an extra layer of flavor, try using a flavored croissant, such as almond or chocolate.
Feel free to substitute the Swiss cheese with another cheese of your choice, such as provolone or cheddar.
If you don't have an oven, you can toast the croissants in a toaster oven or under a broiler for a few minutes until the cheese is melted.
Consider adding a sprinkle of red pepper flakes to the avocado mixture for a spicy kick.
