Bake in the preheated oven until chicken and sauce are hot. Sprinkle top with 3/4 cup Cheddar cheese; arrange biscuits in a single layer on top. Sprinkle remaining 1/4 cup Cheddar cheese on top. (15 minutes)

Continue baking in the oven until sauce is bubbling and biscuits are golden brown. (20 minutes)

For an extra layer of flavor, consider adding a pinch of garlic powder or onion powder to the chicken mixture.
Feel free to substitute the canned cream of chicken soup with a homemade cream sauce for a more elevated dish.
To prevent the biscuits from browning too quickly, tent the baking dish with foil during the last 10 minutes of baking.
