Follow The Directions

01

Step
3 mins

In a blender, combine the cream of coconut, sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, coconut rum, water, vanilla bean ice cream, and vanilla extract. (3 minutes)

02

Step
2 mins

Blend until the mixture is completely smooth and homogenous. (2 minutes)

03

Step
1 mins

Pour the blended mixture into two 20-ounce glass bottles or jars. Add one cinnamon stick and one clove to each container.

04

Step
8 mins

Seal the bottles tightly and shake well to infuse the flavors. (1 minute)

05

Step

Refrigerate the Coquito for at least 8 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld and the mixture to chill thoroughly.

For a richer flavor, use a high-quality coconut rum.
If you prefer a thicker Coquito, add another half scoop of vanilla bean ice cream.
Adjust the amount of rum to your preference.
Garnish with freshly grated cinnamon or nutmeg just before serving for an extra touch of aroma and flavor.
For a non-alcoholic version, simply omit the rum and add a splash of coconut extract to taste.
