For an extra layer of flavor, marinate the chicken in 2 tablespoons of the teriyaki sauce mixture for at least 30 minutes (or up to overnight) before cooking. If you prefer a thicker sauce, whisk 1 teaspoon of cornstarch with 1 tablespoon of cold water and add it to the sauce while it's simmering. Cook for another minute, or until thickened. Feel free to substitute other vegetables, such as snow peas, mushrooms, or bok choy. Serve over rice for a heartier meal.
