Follow The Directions

01

Step
5 mins

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). (5 minutes)

02

Step
2 mins

In a large bowl or food processor, combine the flour, brown sugar, and 2 teaspoons of cinnamon. If using a food processor, pulse until well combined. (2 minutes)

03

Step
5 mins

Add the cold butter to the flour mixture. If using a food processor, pulse until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs with pea-sized pieces of butter. If mixing by hand, use a pastry blender or your fingers to cut in the butter until the same crumbly texture is achieved. (5 minutes)

04

Step
3 mins

Press half of the streusel mixture into the bottom of an ungreased 9-inch springform pan. Set the remaining streusel aside. (3 minutes)

05

Step
5 mins

In a separate large bowl, combine the sliced apples, Stevia In The Raw®, cornstarch, and the remaining 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. Stir gently to coat the apples evenly. (5 minutes)

06

Step
2 mins

Arrange the apple mixture in the springform pan, on top of the pressed streusel base. (2 minutes)

07

Step
2 mins

Evenly sprinkle the remaining streusel mixture over the apple filling. (2 minutes)

08

Step
1 hrs 5 mins

Place the springform pan on a baking sheet with sides (to catch any potential drips). Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the apples are tender. (60-70 minutes)

09

Step
1 hrs 30 mins

Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and let it cool completely in the pan. (1-2 hours)

10

Step
5 mins

Before serving, run a thin knife around the edge of the pan to loosen the cake. Carefully remove the springform ring. Slice and serve.

For an extra layer of flavor, consider adding a teaspoon of vanilla extract to the apple mixture.
If you don't have Stevia In The Raw®, you can substitute with your preferred sweetener, adjusting the quantity to taste.
To prevent the crust from getting too brown, you can tent the cake with foil during the last 20 minutes of baking.
Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream for an extra special treat!
