For an extra layer of flavor, toast the toffee bits in a dry skillet over medium heat for a few minutes before adding them to the dip. If you prefer a smoother dip, you can use a food processor to blend the ingredients instead of an electric mixer. This dip can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Just be sure to keep the apples separate until serving to prevent them from becoming soggy. Experiment with different types of apples! Honeycrisp, Fuji, or Gala apples would also be delicious.
