Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. (5 minutes)

02

Step

In a large bowl, combine the self-rising flour and Greek yogurt. Mix until a soft dough begins to form. (3 minutes)

03

Step

Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently for 3 minutes, until smooth and elastic.

04

Step

Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a ball, then shape into a bagel by poking a hole through the center with your finger and gently stretching it. (10 minutes)

05

Step

Place the shaped bagels on the prepared baking sheet. Allow them to rest for 15 minutes. (15 minutes)

06

Step

Lightly spray the bagels with avocado oil cooking spray. Generously sprinkle with your chosen bagel seasoning. (2 minutes)

07

Step

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the bagels are golden brown and sound hollow when tapped. (20-25 minutes)

08

Step

Let the bagels cool slightly on the baking sheet before enjoying. (5 minutes)

For a richer flavor, brush the bagels with an egg wash (1 egg whisked with 1 tablespoon of water) before adding the seasoning.
If you don't have self-rising flour, you can make your own by combining 1 cup all-purpose flour with 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder and 1/4 teaspoon salt.
Experiment with different flavor combinations! Try adding a pinch of garlic powder or onion powder to the dough for a savory twist.
