Follow The Directions

01

Step

Cook the Spaghetti: Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook, stirring occasionally, until al dente (about 6 minutes). Drain and set aside.

02

Step

Steam the Broccoli: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine broccoli florets with 2-3 tablespoons of water. Cover tightly and microwave on high until tender-crisp (3-4 minutes). Drain any excess liquid and set aside.

03

Step

Prepare the Sauce: In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, Japanese mayonnaise, chili crisp oil sauce, gochujang, sugar, garlic powder, and minced ginger until well combined.

04

Step

Sear the Scallops and Assemble: Heat olive oil and butter in a wok or large skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion and cook until softened (about 1 minute). Add bay scallops and cook, stirring occasionally, until seared and opaque (about 3 minutes). Add steamed broccoli and cook for another 1-2 minutes.

05

Step

Combine and Serve: Pour the prepared sauce over the scallops and broccoli. Add the cooked spaghetti and toss everything together until well coated and heated through (2-3 minutes).

06

Step

Garnish and Serve: Garnish with chopped green onion and serve immediately.

For a richer flavor, consider using sesame oil instead of olive oil.
Adjust the amount of chili crisp to your preference for spice.
If you don't have Kewpie mayonnaise, regular mayonnaise can be used, but the flavor will be slightly different.
Feel free to add other vegetables, such as bell peppers or mushrooms, to the dish.
To prevent the spaghetti from sticking together, toss it with a little olive oil after draining.
