Follow The Directions

01

Step

Prepare the Zoodles: Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Briefly sauté the zucchini noodles in the hot pan, stirring constantly, for 3-4 minutes, or until they begin to soften slightly. Transfer the zoodles to a metal colander and allow excess moisture to drain while you prepare the sauce. (3-4 minutes)

02

Step

Craft the Sticky Sauce: Return the skillet to medium-low heat. Add the olive oil, followed by the sliced green onions and minced garlic. Sauté for 2-3 minutes, until fragrant and softened. Pour in the soy sauce, sprinkle in the brown sugar, and add the red pepper flakes. Let the sauce simmer gently, allowing it to reduce and thicken to a luscious consistency, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat. (7-8 minutes)

03

Step

Combine and Serve: Gently squeeze any remaining moisture from the zoodles in the colander. Transfer the zoodles to the skillet with the sticky sauce and toss to coat thoroughly. Serve immediately, garnished generously with chopped peanuts and thinly sliced red bell pepper for a delightful crunch and burst of color.

For an extra layer of flavor, try adding a teaspoon of sesame oil to the sauce.
If you don't have zucchini, you can substitute with other spiralized vegetables like carrots or sweet potatoes.
Toasted sesame seeds also make a great addition to the garnish.
If you want a protein boost, add tofu
