For a vegan version, use plant-based milk and yogurt.
Adjust the amount of brown sugar and spices to your liking.

The oats will continue to thicken as they sit, so don't be afraid to add more liquid if needed before serving.
For a smoother texture, you can blend the mixture slightly before refrigerating.
