For a richer flavor, use salted butter and sprinkle a pinch of sea salt over the top of the bars before baking.
To prevent the chips from sinking to the bottom, chill the condensed milk for 30 minutes before using.
For easier cutting, line the baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides. Once cooled, lift the bars out of the pan using the parchment paper.
