Follow The Directions

01

Step

Combine sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic, parsley, tarragon, lemon juice, and anchovy fillets in a food processor or blender. (Prep time: 5 minutes)

02

Step

Process until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed. (Processing time: 2-3 minutes)

03

Step

Transfer the Green Goddess mixture to a bowl. Gently fold in the minced chives. (Mixing time: 1 minute)

04

Step

Season the dip with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste, adjusting as needed. (Seasoning time: 1 minute)

05

Step

Cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld together. Chilling overnight is even better! (Chilling time: 60+ minutes)

For the most vibrant flavor, use the freshest herbs you can find. Flat-leaf parsley is preferred.
If you're not a fan of anchovies, a small squeeze of lemon juice and a pinch of salt can be substituted, though the authentic flavor will be slightly different.
Taste and adjust seasonings after chilling. The flavors will develop and intensify over time.
Serve with an array of colorful vegetables, crackers, or as a delectable sauce for grilled fish or chicken.
