For a richer flavor, use melted butter instead of vegetable oil. Add 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts or pecans for added texture and flavor. Store the cooled bread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or in the refrigerator for up to a week. This bread also freezes well. Wrap tightly in plastic wrap and then in foil. It can be frozen for up to 2 months. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator before serving.
