In a small saucepan, whisk together the heavy cream, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and salt. (2 minutes)

Place the saucepan over medium-high heat and bring to a gentle boil, whisking frequently to ensure the sugars dissolve completely. (5-7 minutes)

Once the sugars are dissolved and the mixture is smooth, remove the saucepan from the heat and allow it to cool slightly. (10 minutes)

Stir in the milk or half-and-half until well combined.

Transfer the creamer to a sterilized bottle or jar with a tight-fitting lid.

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld and deepen before using. (120 minutes)

For a richer flavor, use dark brown sugar instead of light brown sugar.
Adjust the amount of cinnamon to your preference. Start with 1 teaspoon and add more to taste.
The creamer will thicken as it cools in the refrigerator. If it becomes too thick, add a splash of milk to thin it out.
Store the creamer in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
