Follow The Directions

01

Step
5 mins

In a large bowl, combine the shredded green cabbage, sliced red bell pepper, thinly sliced red onion, shredded carrots, diced mango, and chopped fresh cilantro. (Prep time: 15 minutes)

02

Step
2 mins

In a separate small bowl, whisk together the nonfat plain yogurt, reduced-fat mayonnaise, prepared yellow mustard, apple cider vinegar, agave nectar, salt, freshly ground black pepper, and habanero hot sauce until well combined. (Prep time: 5 minutes)

03

Step
1 mins

Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss gently to ensure all ingredients are evenly coated. (Prep time: 2 minutes)

04

Step
1 hrs

Cover the bowl and refrigerate the slaw for at least 1 hour, or preferably longer, to allow the flavors to meld and the slaw to develop its full potential. (Marinating time: 60+ minutes)

For an extra layer of flavor, consider adding toasted coconut flakes or chopped macadamia nuts just before serving.
Adjust the amount of habanero hot sauce to your preference. A little goes a long way!
The slaw can be made up to 24 hours in advance. The flavors will continue to develop over time.
