Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Cover a baking sheet with aluminum foil and grease with cooking spray. (5 minutes)

02

Step

In a bowl, combine ground turkey, 3/4 cup of panko bread crumbs, green onions, beaten egg, soy sauce, brown sugar, minced ginger, and minced garlic. Mix well to ensure all ingredients are evenly distributed. (5 minutes)

03

Step

Place the remaining 3/4 cup of panko bread crumbs in a shallow bowl. With wet hands, form the turkey mixture into sixteen 1 1/2-inch balls. Roll each ball in the bread crumbs to coat, then gently flatten between your palms to create a patty. Place the patties on the prepared baking sheet. (15 minutes)

04

Step

Bake in the preheated oven until the turkey patties are cooked through and no longer pink in the center, approximately 20 to 25 minutes.

05

Step

While the patties are baking, prepare the mayo-teriyaki sauce. In a small bowl, stir together the mayonnaise and teriyaki sauce. Season with white sugar to taste. (2 minutes)

06

Step

Once the turkey sliders are baked, serve them on Hawaiian dinner rolls with a small amount of the mayo-teriyaki sauce. (5 minutes)

For an extra layer of flavor, try adding a pinch of red pepper flakes to the turkey mixture.
To prevent the turkey mixture from sticking to your hands, keep a small bowl of water nearby and wet your hands as needed.
Feel free to experiment with different toppings! A slice of avocado or a sprinkle of sesame seeds would be delicious additions.
