Follow The Directions

01

Step

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a rolling boil. Add bow-tie pasta and cook until al dente, about 12 minutes. Drain well, toss with 1 tablespoon of butter, and set aside to keep warm.

02

Step

In a large saucepan, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the finely diced shallot and sauté until softened and fragrant, about 1 minute. Pour in the heavy whipping cream and dry white wine, bringing the mixture to a gentle boil. Season with a pinch of cayenne pepper, saffron threads, salt, and freshly ground black pepper. Reduce heat to low and simmer gently for 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld (the sauce will remain relatively thin).

03

Step

While the sauce simmers, heat a frying pan over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 3 to 5 minutes. Add the cooked lobster and crab meat to the pan, cooking until heated through, about 2 minutes more. Season lightly with salt and freshly ground black pepper.

04

Step

Gently fold the seafood mixture into the saucepan with the creamy sauce. Stir in the fresh lemon juice and continue to simmer over low heat for an additional 10 minutes, allowing the seafood to infuse its flavors into the sauce.

05

Step

Serve the cooked pasta immediately in individual bowls. Ladle a generous amount of the seafood sauce over each serving. Fold the sauce gently into the pasta and finish with a final dash of freshly ground black pepper.

For an even richer flavor, consider adding a tablespoon of tomato paste to the sauce during the simmering process.
Fresh herbs like parsley, chives, or basil make a wonderful garnish.
Adjust the amount of cayenne pepper to suit your spice preference.
If you don't have saffron, you can omit it, but it does add a unique flavor and color.
Serve with crusty bread for dipping into the delicious sauce.
